Job Description
The Centre Head will be
responsible for all aspects of running the Shine
Centre, as listed below. This is a full-time
position, requiring Monday-Friday (10AM-8PM) and
at least one weekend day, either Saturday or
Sunday (10AM-6PM). |

| The Centre Head will
have the following responsibilities: |

Student
enrollment, course delivery, parent
conferences. |
|
|
|
Ensure smooth
running of the centre computers and
network. |
|
|
|
Hire, train and
manage staff. This will involve managing
up to 12 part time tutors, each with a
15-25 hour work schedule. |
|
|
|
Customer
acquisition through events and follow up
customer visits to the centre. |
|
|
|
Create awareness
of the Shine brand in the local
community. Help with brand positioning. |
|

Profile |
| The ideal candidate will
have: |
|
|
|
Bachelor’s
degree with demonstrated leadership
skills and business orientation, from a
reputed college. |
|
|
|
Excellent
command over the English language. |
|
|
|
Customer service
or sales experience. |
|
|
|
Ability to
effectively communicate with children
and parents, and manage centre staff. |
|
|
|
Keen interest in English, Reading and
Mathematics, as well as comfort with
technology and computers. |
|
|
|
Teaching
experience a plus. Young teachers/tutors
looking to launch an exciting career in
the unconventional world of supplemental
learning welcome. |
